SLOPPY SECONDS 4.14

After driving around atlanta... for nearly 20 extra minutes after passing The Royal the first time, i finally made it to the Sloppy Seconds party...

it was alot of fun......
and those who knew what was up were unscathed by the torrential downpours going on outside.

Long story short.. i danced my ass off... and got all gross and sweaty in true sloppy like fashion...

i think i got ruffied...somehow...

i dont know the night was going fine..
then i came home went to bed.. and didnt wake up till 4pm!!!!!!!!!!!

that dosnt happen to me....
for me to sleep past 12.. is a bad thing....

so that pretty much summed up my sunday...sleeping it more than half away...

its all good im fine now.......one for the team i guess (what a waste of a ruffie for me to just go home to my sick pup).....

ps.. what the FUCK is going on with this weather...please tell me why i was wearing a wool sweater.. in april.. in fucking GEORGIA!....
this world is done for ... no way... we're gonna last another 50 years

Went to the show last night....
Crazy how cute is what we aim for was spose to be the headliner...
but seemed like most people were there to see Circa....

but i still enjoyed them.... lead singer was losing his voice.. and ended the show alittle early..
but i video taped a few songs....

ps.. circa was ... cool i had never seen them perform before..
maybe im just a big stick in the mud... but those kids were raging a little too hard..
for my comfort zone.... some dude nearly crushed his tail bone...

Newport Living

My Spring Break and so it goes....

So this past week has been my Spring Break..
which started out... fun and eventful...

ive been fucking all over this damn state...

Friday i went out and saw Reno 911... (it wasnt my choice)

i have never actually seen the television show, and i chuckled a few times

but ..thats just not anything... i would EVER choose to see...[counting brain cells]

Then Saturday i drove down to Statesboro (where i used to go to school)

to surprise all of my old friends... and help one of my former teamates

celebrate her 21st.

Lots of fun...

but still....rugby and partying are the only things i really miss about being that..

deep in the south...

i stayed there untill Sunday night

but only after watching Marie Anntwinette (sp?)

the most uneventful movie of all times.... warning: very sparse on dialog

and the Devil wears Prada for the umm 15th time.... i love it though

that night i went further down south.. to Savannah to hang with the ex-boyfriend

did nothing special... he went to work i got there sunday night and didnt leave the apt till Tuesday afternoon....

we rented some movies

(just realized how many movies ive seen in the past couple of weeks)..

Stranger than Fiction... and Half Nelson

i liked stranger than fiction it was cute.. but in true burke-like fasion he fell asleep

and i had already seen Half nelson... in an indie theater in NYC...

everyone should see it... its grrrreat...

[my back started killing me last Monday, like i had thrown it out]{a premonition of things to come}

then i drove to my moms house (about 260 miles from savannah)

and have been held hostage here ever since...

my the guilt of her wantin me to stick around...

and by my newly formed KIDNEY INFECTION [aparently that was the mysterious "back" pain].... my kidneys were screamin at me...

and i was walking around whinning cause i could barely stand up straight...

went to doc yesterday.. and im getting better....

But mom still not letting me leave and go back to ATL... yet.

perhaps... ill sneak out sunday.. morn...

180 some thousand miles

To explain the heading... thats just how many miles are on my car, i put about 30K on there in like 2 and a half years.....
Anyways.....
My friend Kelsey flew into town yesterday morning from New York..so i met she and Jen.. at The Standard...
then we mozzied on over to MJQ {.otherwise known as the drunken unicorn.} which i had heard about but never been.. suppose to be a crazy dance party

its was interesting... liked the DJs... alittle dark...but will prolly will go back...
i hadnt done.. my photography assignment for this week yet..so i took some shots last night...

somehow there ended up being like 12 pics of kelsey... ... whatever...

I finally got caught

So everyone who knows me, and even some who think they know me, knows i have a fake id... have had the same fake since i was like 17..

in the past three years i have never had it taken away or declined or ever looked at twice...

i have used this Ga id... many places in Georgia, Alabama,New Jersey, many parts of New York City never a problem...

Then tonight.. i decided to go check out the Decatur Social Club its a weekly party throw at this place called Azul... i heard it was spose to be pretty cool...

so i made the 20 minute drive out there.... to check it out...

upon getting into decatur it took me another 20 minutes to find the damn place...

its so friggen hidden....

bottom line the guy looks at my id.. and goes "April" this is not you.... "you have chink eyes"

i was floored... i had no idea what to say... i have never been turned away from a venue before...

anyways....still alittle pissed about that but whatever... still not gonna stop using it...

unless the next time i get caught again.... if thats the case.. ill accept the fact that my luck has run out and i better lay low till August....

on top of all of that....

i had a freaking nervous breakdown when i got to my car..

i guess it was the accumulation of alot of things....

and all resulting in me not wanting to me living in atlanta for the next five years...

i go to a technology school 77% guys.... (not as good as it sounds).... think dungeons and dragons and anime... alot of anime....

i get lost driving almost every friggen day..

i cant move into my new apt till feb..

and i just dont have any friends here...

so its pretty... eh right now....

and lets not forget that whole ex-boyfriend thing...

i called my mom crying... and she did the usual mom thing... things till get better blah blah... i hate u feel this way blah blah... whatever... she loves me...

so now im sitting here.. like the nerd i am.. at 1:35 in the morning on a friday night... will red puffy eyes.. typing out my latest blog entry... listening to Metric... and getting ready to read a few pages of the book i bought today...
